-Last thing Coach said to us as we stretched down to get our lower back loosened up post training.
Good life reminder ... For everything- running, stretching, working, loving, etc - don't.forget.to.breathe.
But- Enough of the life.lessons for the day.
So- todays training-
Warm up mile up from ps 9 at 86th st over to the Great Hill - that lovely steep hill that leads into a speed track.
4 hard, 4 easy, we're told--
So go hard for 1, and take it easy for 1 - 4 times. Equals 8 laps.
I ran w the 10minute pacer but thought to roll with the 930-- but with the knee funkiness that I've had going on, I figure- fastest of the slower than slowest of the fastest...
The coach running w that group was the one that I did these laps w last time- the one that's got to be at least 70 years old and a speed demon!
So - took it easy, sped up into a good hard pace that felt good so I could still breathe and then rolled with it.
Our final warm-down was the mile back to the school- the great hill I found is on 105th st- so at least now I know where I was....
Saturday we run the half!! Let's go TFK NY10!
